If we live in the past, we take from our present and give ourselves no new future. That's something that has taken me years to learn. And while I still occasionally need reminders, thank goodness for a man from humanity's past to remind me!
Sidenote: Actually, there are so many uber awesome things that man said, wrote, gave to the world, I expect I'll be sharing another one or two from him again. :>
Guess what time it is? It's time for Bits of Bee's #QuotableBits! ReplyDeleteI agree this guy has some great quotes. I shared one last week. Learning from the past and then letting go can be difficult, but a good reminder.
ReplyDeleteI love this quote - if only we remembered this when things get tough
ReplyDeleteGreat quote, Karen! From the time I was a small child, I have adored Albert Einstein. In school when the kids teased me and called me Einstein (and Browner and so on), I couldn't have been prouder! I think it really irritated them. LOL :)
