Star Wars + Legos + channelled excitement = "Something Cool"

We had a kidlet who was practically bouncing out of his skin with excitement & anticipation when Halloween arrived.  As any parent would do to save their sanity to encourage some mellow chill time in the house, Hubs simply said, "Why don't you go build something cool."

And off the excited kidlet went.

A few minutes later, he returned with...

...Dengar's speeder and...

...Bossk's speeder.

Yes, somebody really loves Star Wars in this house and of course, our favorite building material to go 'build something cool' with, Legos

  3. I loved Legos as a kid. I remember spending hours creating things with those little pieces. They were great fun as a kid, but in the pain in the butt to step on as an adult. lol
Thanks for stopping by and linking up and for the Twitter follow as well. Have a great day.

  5. Hi, Karen! Cool speeders! You have a creative talent on your hands! I could still spend hours playing with Legos! :-)

  6. We LOVE Legos over here too! Except for when they get left on the floor and I step on them. And, then, we don't. Not even a little.

  8. This is our exact method with my 8 yr old. Go build something. Then he comes back 30 mins later with some Star Wars Lego thing that he's modified and spends 20 mins explaining to me what he's done to make the speeder/snowspeeder/thingy able to really work in space.
and I understand none of it.
